PF in Alagoas celebrates 80 years with week of activities

The Federal Police in Alagoas is completing 80 years of operation and, to celebrate the date, it has prepared a week of activities for the population of Maceio. The program includes a photographic exhibition at Maceió Shopping, from April 2nd to 7th, a physical exhibition with the participation of federal police officers and PF equipment, on April 6th and 7th, and an official ceremony on April 5th.

The photographic exhibition, which will be on display at Maceió Shopping from April 2nd to 7th, brings together 24 images that portray the history and various activities of the PF, from combating organized crime to issuing passports and migratory control. Visitation is free and open to the public.

On April 6th and 7th, from 11am to 6pm (6th) and from 12pm to 6pm (7th), Maceió Shopping will also host a physical PF exhibition. The population will be able to learn more about the work of federal police officers from different sectors, such as the Ready Intervention Group (GPI), the Maritime Police Unit (NEPOM), the Identification Unit (NID) and the Technical-Scientific Sector. The exhibition will also feature ostentatious vehicles, operational suits, drones and other PF equipment.

The official ceremony celebrating the 80th anniversary of the PF in Alagoas will be held on April 5th, at 10 am, in the auditorium of the Federal Police Regional Superintendency. The ceremony will feature the presence of local authorities, tributes to PF employees and lectures on the history of the institution and its challenges for the future.
