Roberto Salum’s trip to Procon-SC on a Sunday becomes the target of investigation by the Civil Police

The Civil Police are already working on another investigation involving the former director of Procon-SC, Roberto Salum. This work seeks to clarify an episode where the former director had allegedly removed two computers from the agency, alleging an action by Gaeco (Special Action Group to Combat Organized Crime).

The complaint delivered to the Santa Catarina Government ombudsman’s office also reveals that Salum wanted to create a kind of “chaos” among the employees of the consumer agency.

Images from the video surveillance system to which Coluna Bom Dia had access show the director on February 18, 2024, a Sunday, around 4 pm, arriving inside the Procon-SC building.

At the scene he awaits the arrival of another man. All traffic is witnessed by a local security guard who appears in the images talking to the then director.

Still according to what was reported, the director would have told the employees that the equipment had been taken by members of the Public Ministry of Santa Catarina, in the name of an investigation that, in this context, never existed.

The case is in the hands of the Civil Police in a parallel procedure, under the care of another police station. The expectation is that, this Wednesday, the complainants will be heard.

Sexual harassment

A statement is also scheduled for this Wednesday (3) accusing Roberto Salum of sexual harassment. This accusation, however, does not concern the period in which Salum was at Procon-SC.

This second case arose from the publication of the first, published exclusively by Coluna Bom Dia, on the night of March 28th.

The victim, in an internet publication, revealed that he had been a victim of Salum in a context similar to the one that exploded last week, involving an outsourced Procon-SC server.

Wednesday promises to be doubly decisive.

Roberto Salum in silence

The former director of Procon-SC, Roberto Salum, remains silent. In addition to canceling the press conference that he had “promised”, the accused adopts silence.

His lawyer, Claudio Gastão Filho, when asked this Tuesday whether there was a definition regarding his client’s statement, replied that there is still no date.
