The population of Acre paid R$ 15,223,346.9.12 in taxes in the first three months of 2024. This is the calculation published by Imposmetro, a panel created by the Commercial Association of São Paulo (ACSP) to monitor the volume of tax collection throughout the country. Brazil.

The data shows that there was an increase of approximately 25% compared to the first quarter of 2023, when tax payments were 12.6 billion. Throughout last year, people from Acre paid R$49.7 billion in taxes.

Rio Branco tops the list of municipalities in Acre where the most taxes were paid in January, with a value of R$59.5 million. Next comes Cruzeiro do Sul with R$63.3 million and Sena Madureira where R$20.9 million in taxes were paid. Manoel Urbano was the city with the lowest revenue, R$ 16.2 thousand (check out the full list below).

Acre’s collection represents 0.16% of the total among all units of the Federation. In the first quarter of this year, the Brazilian population disbursed R$935.1 billion in the payment of federal, state and municipal taxes.

The Taxometer also calculated the number of days worked to pay taxes. In 2023, there were 147 days, two less than in 2021 and 2022 respectively.

Created in 2005, the Taxometer is a tool for estimating the total value of taxes, fees, contributions and fines paid by the Brazilian population to the Union, states and municipalities.

In the tool, created in partnership with the Brazilian Institute of Tax Planning (IBPT), it is possible to monitor how much the country, states and municipalities are collecting in taxes and also find out what governments can do with all the money collected.
