Tiradentes Race, CPE Portas Abertas and PMAM Exhibition are among the events
In celebration of the 187th anniversary of the Amazonas Military Police (PMAM) and Tiradentes Day, patron saint of the Brazilian Military Police, the institution will hold a special program during the month of April. The calendar has events for both military police officers and the community.
To open the program, the PMAM Sports Games will be held next Thursday (04/04). With volleyball, football and jiu-jitsu competitions, the games will take place at the Clube dos Oficiais, located in the Aleixo neighborhood, central-south area of Manaus.
On April 9th there will be a blood donation at the General Command complex, in the Petrópolis neighborhood, south of Manaus. On the same day, awareness of the Annual Donor Cycle (CAD) begins and continues until April 11th. Health in Action will also start on the 9th and will continue until April 12th.
For the community, PMAM holds the CPE Open Doors, on April 13th. At the event, the public will be able to interact with the institution’s horses and dogs, in addition to getting to know the specialized units subordinate to the Specialized Policing Command (CPE), which is located in the Dom Pedro neighborhood, central-west area of Manaus.
Other options for those who want to follow closely are the cycling tour and Tocata da Banda, which take place on April 17th, at the Ponta Negra Tourist Complex.
On April 18th, the traditional Military Graduation will be held commemorating the Anniversary of PMAM and Tiradentes. The event will bring together military and civil authorities at the Rondas Ostensivas Cândido Mariano (Rocam) barracks.
PMAM exhibition
On the 19th, 20th and 21st of April, Shopping Grande Circular hosts the PMAM Exhibition. The program includes musical performances, stands from all specialized units, programs and social projects of the corporation, among other activities.
Tiradentes Race
The 38th Tiradentes Race of the Amazonas Military Police (PMAM) will be held on April 21st, at the Arena da Amazônia Podium, located on Avenida Constatino Nery, in the center-west zone of Manaus. Registration for the event, which began in February, closes on April 15th.
The registration fee is R$120 and can be done on the Ticket Sports websites (https://www.ticketsports.com.
Other activities
The program ends with the Motorcycle Tour, on April 28th. The exit will be at Ponta Negra and will continue towards Km 50 of the AM-070 highway, which connects Manaus to Iranduba.
