Training will boost the performance of professionals at the Roraima Hospital Pharmacy

In a continuous effort to improve the quality of health services offered in the State, the training of pharmacists in Roraima’s hospital pharmacy emerges as a preponderant factor. The president of the Regional Pharmacy Council of Roraima (CRF-RR), Bianca Crispim, emphasizes the crucial importance of investing in the continuing education of professionals to raise the standard of pharmaceutical assistance provided to the population, between April 3rd and 4th, the The event will have support from the Federal Pharmacy Council (CFF) and the State Department of Health (Sesau).

“Constantly updating pharmacists is essential to keep up with advances and demands in the healthcare sector, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of treatments offered in hospital institutions”, highlights Bianca.

The event schedule, planned for April 3rd, includes an intense agenda, with crucial moments planned for the morning and afternoon of the first day. The opening, scheduled for 9 am, will be attended by regional pharmacy advisors at the Council’s headquarters, located at Rua Professor Agnelo Bitencourt, n. 1506, in the São Francisco neighborhood.

On the 4th, it is planned to present important health structures in the region, such as the Hospital Geral de Roraima (HGR) and the Hospital Materno Infantil (HMI), through a technical visit to health units, highlighting the integration of pharmacists in these call centers. The morning activities end with contributions from renowned professionals, such as Dr. Marcelo Polacow and Dr. Greyzel, culminating in open reflections and considerations.

There will also be theoretical and practical classes on pharmaceutical calculations held at HMI, providing participants with the opportunity to improve their technical skills. The event ends with the end of the activities, consolidating the commitment to excellence and constant improvement in the pharmaceutical sector in Roraima.
