Semus invites the population to participate in the 2nd State Conference on Work Management and Health Education

To strengthen the Unified Health System (SUS), the Municipal Health Department (Semus) invites managers, professionals in the area and the community in general to discuss, share and suggest improvements for qualification and assistance in user care. On April 10th, the Capital will host the macro-regional stage of the 2nd State Conference on Work Management and Health Education (Cegtes). The event will be held from 8 am to 6 pm at the University Center for Integration between Science, Culture and Art (Cuica) at the Federal University of Tocantins. Palmas will host the discussion of 42 municipalities in the health regions of Cantão, Capim Dourado and Amor Perfeito. The Conference is promoted by the State Department of Health (SES), in partnership with the Tocantins State Health Council (CES-TO), secretariats and municipal councils. After the regional debates, the state stage will take place, also scheduled to be held in the Capital, on the 11th and 12th of June. The national stage is scheduled to take place in Brasília, from November 19th to 22nd, with the theme ‘Democracy, Work and Health Education for Development: people who make the SUS happen’.
