The Public Ministry of Bahia (MP-BA) is holding a paternity campaign this April in the cities of Candeias and Madre de Deus, in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador. On the occasion, lectures on the topic will be offered, as well as the issuance of documents recognizing paternity and DNA testing.
The action is part of the “Responsible Fatherhood” and “Living with Citizenship” projects, and will be carried out with the support of social workers and employees of the Operational Support Center for Civil, Foundations and Electoral Prosecutor’s Offices (Caocife).

In Candeias, the action will begin with lectures on fatherhood and also with services for mothers on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd of April, from 8:30 am to 2 pm. Then, the collective effort will go to Madre de Deus, on April 4th, from 8am to 2pm.
On the 29th and 30th of this month, the action returns to both cities with paternity recognition services and DNA tests, in addition to the issuance of the 2nd copy of documents that prove the paternity of the children.
