Desenrola Brasil is extended for another 50 days

-

The government decided to extend the Desenrola Brasil program, for debt renegotiation for those who are in default, for another 50 days. The deadline would end on March 31st and now runs until May 20th. The measure is published in the Official Gazette of the Union this Thursday (28).

The extension only applies to Track 1 of Desenrola, aimed at people with an income of up to two minimum wages or registered with CadÙnico and with debts of up to R$20,000.

This was the second extension. The justification is the increase in demand after the unification of Desenrola with bank and Caixa applications. Furthermore, since the beginning of the month, Desenrola debits can also be negotiated at Post Office branches.

Since February 15, Desenrola Brasil has also been accessed through the Serasa Limpa Nome website.

According to the Ministry of Finance, 14 million people have already benefited from the program, which made it possible to negotiate approximately R$50 billion in debt.

Discounts on the Desenrola platform are 83%, on average; and in some cases they exceed 96%. Payments can be made in cash or in installments, with no down payment and up to 60 months to pay.

More than 700 companies participate in the effort, including banks, finance companies, retailers, telephone operators, water and energy concessionaires.

To access Desenrola directly through the unfold.gov.br platform, you must have a GOV.BR account. However, the account is not required by partner channels.
