A teenager was stabbed this Thursday morning (28) at a private school in Itapoá, on the North Coast of Santa Catarina. The incident happened around 10am.

The victim was allegedly attacked by a classmate during school activities. The 17-year-old was hit by three superficial stabs in the chest and one deep in the arm.
After being treated at the Itapoá Emergency Care Unit, the stabbed teenager was transferred to a hospital in Joinville. Despite his injuries, his life is not at risk.
School did not comment on the stabbed teenager
The 17-year-old perpetrator of the stabbing was taken to the Police Center in Joinville, accompanied by her parents. So far, the motivation for the attack has not been clarified.
