Water Walk 2024 will have activities for all audiences

On Saturday (30), Caesb and Adasa will promote the Water Walk. The environmental event closes the program agenda around World Water Day, celebrated on the 22nd. The action will take place in Parque da Cidade Sarah Kubitschek and will feature a series of activities aimed at all audiences.

In line with the campaign De Olho nas Águas, from the source to you, promoted by Adasa, the outdoor activity aims to stimulate community awareness about the preservation and responsible use of water, encouraging reflection on consumption patterns and the importance of adopting daily practices aimed at conserving and protecting this essential resource for life.

In addition to the four-kilometer walk, scheduled to start at 9:20 am, the program will include a theatrical performance, zumba classes, among other entertainment activities. The mascots Gotita, from Adasa, Cristal, from Caesb, and Garizito, from the Urban Cleaning Service (SLU), will join forces and, together with the Caninópolis characters, will liven up the dynamics with the children.

The event gathering begins at 8am, close to the City Park Administration, located near Parking 13. There will be a distribution of t-shirts, limited in quantity, and general instructions for the walk will be provided.

Adasa highlights the importance of participants taking a bottle to hydrate themselves during the route. Caesb will provide a mobile unit to supply drinking water.

The Water Walk has the support of the Secretariat of the Environment and Animal Protection of the Federal District (Sema-DF), Institute of the Environment and Water Resources of the Federal District (Brasília Ambiental), SLU, Secretariat of Sport and Leisure of the District Federal (SEL-DF), Department of Transit (Detran-DF) and Regional Administration of Plano Piloto.
