What a fright! Using only a disposable diaper, alone and accompanied by a stray dog, Caramel. Thus, a baby aged 1 year and eight months was found walking calmly along Av. Duque de Caxias in the Marco neighborhood, in Belém, Pará.
The incident happened at 3am on Wednesday (27). The boy was found by a Municipal Guard team. One of the agents picked him up and asked him what he was doing there, alone, and he replied: “taking a walk”.
Dog was ‘taking care’ of the child
The patrol filmed the moment when one of the guards tries to approach the child, being careful not to be attacked by the dog that barks non-stop, as if protecting the child – see the video.
To locate the parents, the guards walked along the avenue trying to identify a door or gate that was open. The village gate, on Travessa do Chaco, close to where the child was rescued, was open. Then, they activated the car’s siren loudly. The noise woke up several residents, including the child’s parents, completely scared and a little embarrassed.
In their testimony, they reported that they arrived home tired, took a shower, slept and did not notice the moment the child woke up and left. Upon presentation of the documents, the baby and dog were handed over to the family. Once the scare is over, the episode will go down in history for the little runaway!
