This Friday, April 26th, Arena de Pernambuco, in partnership with five institutes dedicated to autism, will promote an awareness campaign during the game between Sport and Vila Nova. Boxes will be made available for the institutes, allowing children the opportunity to experience a unique and inclusive experience during the match.
This initiative seeks to provide a moment of entertainment, inclusion and awareness of the cause of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The cabins will be equipped with sensory toys specially selected to ensure the comfort and fun of the children present.
“At Arena de Pernambuco, in addition to simply offering entertainment, we are building bridges for inclusion. Our action during the game between Sport and Vila Nova is a concrete step towards a more conscious society. Together, we are promoting not just a game, but an experience of inclusion and awareness, reinforcing our commitment to the cause of Autism Spectrum Disorder”, said Marcos Nunes, director of Arena de Pernambuco.
Last Wednesday (24), Arena de Pernambuco together with the Autism Institute, promoted an action with children, helping to make the environment more inclusive. Participants were invited to paint an exclusive space for people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the parking lot in basement 2 of the Arena de Pernambuco. This activity provided a fun experience, highlighting the importance of accessible and inclusive spaces for people with ASD.
“The important integration and welcoming initiative that Arena Pernambuco has been promoting in recent days in relation to the Autistic Spectrum only reinforces the commitment of the Government of Pernambuco to the inclusion of people”, comments the president of Empetur, Eduardo Loyo.
