Event at Escola Municipal Divina Ribeiro Borges brings together students for theatrical activities and distribution of chocolate eggs, highlighting the importance of the meaning of Easter.
Students from the Municipal Education Network of Cariri do Tocantins, enrolled at Escola Municipal Divina Ribeiro Borges, participated on Thursday, 27/03, in a special program carried out by the Municipal Department of Education (Semed), in symbolic celebration of Christian Easter .
The special program took place in the auditorium of the Teaching Unit itself, and consisted of theatrical presentations staged by Elementary School students, with a reflective approach to the true meaning of the commemorative date, which is one of the main traditions of Christianity.
During the presentations, the message about the importance of the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ for humanity was reinforced; and on the occasion, the municipal secretary of education, Lucenilde Morais, together with the school director, Miriã Torres, and the Semed team, distributed chocolate eggs to each student present at the site.
Chocolate eggs were also delivered to children enrolled at the Municipal Center for Early Childhood Education (CMEI) Professor Luzia Souza Ferreira, who in a playful way learned to experience, value and respect the true meaning of Easter, making them citizens aware of the festive date.
This event highlights the commitment of the Cariri do Tocantins Municipal Education Network to the comprehensive education of its students, reinforcing the importance of integrating cultural and social values into the school curriculum. Through initiatives like this, Semed demonstrates its dedication not only to academic development, but also to the personal and spiritual growth of each student, cultivating a more united, conscious and resilient community.
