The 26th edition of the RN 1500, the second largest cross-country rally competition in Brazil, will be held between April 15th and 20th. The race, which stretches over more than 1,000 km, will start in the municipality of São Miguel do Gostoso, on the north coast of Rio Grande do Norte, and will finish in Patos, in the Sertão da Paraíba.
The route of the RN 1500 is marked by varied landscapes that reflect the diversity and natural beauty of the Brazilian Northeast. Impressive dunes, challenging mountains and stretches of backcountry make up the competition scenario, offering drivers and teams a unique and challenging experience.
According to the organizer of the RN 1500, Kleber Tinoco, the event goes beyond a simple sporting competition. For him, the RN 1500 is a celebration of the passion for rallying, the local community and the natural beauty of the Northeast region.
Tinoco also highlights the importance of showing the world the skills of Brazilian pilots and highlighting the cultural and scenic richness of the region. According to him, the race is an opportunity to discover, overcome and connect with the roots of Brazil.
In addition to São Miguel do Gostoso and Patos, the RN 1500 route includes passages through several cities in the states of Rio Grande do Norte and Paraíba.
Competitors will cross locations such as Galinhos (RN), Guamaré (RN), Frei Martinho (PB), Acari (RN), Santa Luzia (PB) and São Mamede (PB), further enriching the diversity of the route and providing interaction with different local cultures and landscapes.
The final awards ceremony for the RN 1500 will be held in Patos, marking the end of the competition and celebrating the drivers and teams that stood out throughout the race.
