The Plenary of the Legislative Assembly of Piauí (Alepi) approved, this Wednesday (27), Bill 8/24, by deputy Rubens Vieira (PT), which establishes the State Policy for Awareness and Incentive for Donation and Transplantation of Organs and Tissues. The matter had passed through the Health Commission this morning and is now headed for government sanction.
The project’s rapporteur at the Health Commission, deputy Dr. Vinícius (PT), highlighted the importance of the initiative, but emphasized that the success of the policy depends on a restructuring of work processes within the bodies that receive fatal victims of trauma, such as the Fire Department and the Mobile Emergency Care Service (Samu).
Another project by deputy Rubens Vieira to be approved by the Plenary was PL 07/24, which establishes the State Policy on Workers’ Health, aimed at defining strategies to be observed by the state and municipal spheres of management of the Unified Health System. Health (SUS), for the development of comprehensive health care for workers.
Approved – Parliamentarians also approved PL 284/23, by deputy Hélio Rodrigues (PT), which provides for the use of the international accessibility symbol; and PL 24/24, by deputy Oliveira Neto (PT), which institutes an awareness campaign about the Heimlich maneuver in Piauí.
All are subject to government sanction, as is PL 16/24, by deputy Dr. Marcus Vinícius Kalume (PT), which establishes State Craftsman Day, to be celebrated annually on March 19th; and PL 319/23, which declares the Celebration of Nossa Senhora Sant’Ana, in Canto do Buriti, Intangible Cultural Heritage.
