PF fulfills warrant in ES in operation against child pornography started in Europe

A national operation against child pornography was launched by the Federal Police, this Wednesday morning (27), in Espírito Santo and 19 other states, in addition to the Federal District. In Espírito Santo, the target of the operation is a 30-year-old painter, resident of Cariacica, investigated on suspicion of storing and sharing sexual abuse content of children and adolescents over the internet.

In total, Operation Share carries out 59 search and seizure warrants in 21 federative units, under the guidance of the Coordination for the Suppression of Cybercrimes Related to Child and Youth Sexual Abuse, of the Federal Police. The action aims to identify and arrest abusers, in addition to rescuing victims.

The investigations began after the police in Italy and Spain identified the occurrence of these criminal practices and passed the information on to the Brazilian Federal Police. According to the PF, 17 suspects were arrested.

In Espírito Santo, a search and seizure warrant was executed at the house of the 30-year-old painter, in Cariacica. Federal police officers seized a cell phone and investigations continue at the Cybercrime Repression Police Station.
