OAB of SC offers 250 full scholarships for postgraduate studies

Through the Escola Superior de Advocacia Nacional (ESA), the OAB of Santa Catarina is offering 250 scholarships, 100% free, to lawyers from Santa Catarina who wish to pursue a postgraduate degree in Labor and Social Security Law Practice. The initiative is part of the second edition of the largest free postgraduate program in Brazilian law, promoted by OAB and ESA Nacional. Registration for the selection process has already started and will last until March 31, 2024. The notice can be seen here: https://s.oab.org.br/edital-concessao-bolsas-esav2.pdf. The lato sensu postgraduate course in “Practice in Labor and Social Security Law” will be carried out remotely, in partnership with the Faculty of Law of the Fundação Escola Superior of the Public Ministry of Rio Grande do Sul (FMP).

Registration will be carried out exclusively through the ESA Nacional website and the selection will take into account socioeconomic criteria, objective testing and, in the event of a tie, chronological order of registration. The objective test will be held on May 26th, with the final result announced on June 25th, 2024. “This is a great improvement project and will be an excellent opportunity for the professional improvement of our class, representing the commitment of Order with the development of our professionals and also promoting access to quality education”, highlights the president of OAB/SC, Cláudia Prudêncio.
