In the video, the agent approaches the mother, who helps the child out of a car. Noticing that the girl is walking with difficulty, the police officer takes her away from the woman and questions the person in charge: “Was it you who ‘did it’? Were you the one who ‘did’ this?”
At this moment, the security professional slaps the mother in the face. “You don’t like hitting, do you? Don’t you like it?”, she asks again then while handcuffing the woman.
UNDERSTAND THE CASE
According to information from the Pernambuco Diarythe incident was reported by neighbors, who removed the girl from the family home and took her to a city hospital.
Activated, agents of the Military Police of Pernambuco (PMPE) went to the health unit. At the scene, the team discovered that the mother refused to allow the child to get out of the car.
“Upon arriving at the hospital unit, the staff saw that the mother was refusing to let the child disembark from the vehicle, at which point she was restrained,” the corporation stated in a statement.
Regarding the slap given by the police officer to the woman, the PMPE declared that it had initiated an investigation to “investigate the circumstances of the police approach and take the necessary measures”.
According to the corporation, the mother was arrested and taken to the city’s Depol to give a statement.
