The State government published, through Sefaz-MS (State Secretariat of Finance of Mato Grosso do Sul), a supplement of R$ 63.9 million in the Official State Gazette this Wednesday (27). The majority of the resources, R$31.2 million, will be allocated to Ageprev (Social Security Agency of Mato Grosso do Sul).
Ageprev-MS resources will be used to pay social security benefits to active employees.
Another R$20 million was supplemented to strengthen secondary education at SED-MS (State Department of Education).

Budget supplement
Budget supplementation consists of authorizing expenses not included or insufficiently allocated in the LOA (Annual Budget Law).
Expected in Law No. 4,320/64, which establishes general standards of Financial Law for the preparation and control of the budgets of the Union, States, Municipalities and the Federal District, budget supplementation consists of an additional credit modality. Additional credits, in turn, are expense authorizations not computed or insufficiently allocated in the LOA.
