Hulkenberg wants to continue a few more years in the category

The experienced German driver, Nico Hulkenberg, guaranteed his stay in Formula 1. After the 2024 season still at Haas, Hulkenberg will move to Sauber (current Stake F1 Team) in 2025, a team for which he has raced for more than ten years. The Swiss team will become Audi’s official team from 2026, marking the German automaker’s entry into the category.

At 36 years old and with more than 200 GPs contested, the question arises: will Hulkenberg continue competing alongside other veterans such as Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton?

In an interview in China, before the official announcement of his signing, Hulkenberg commented on the future: “Obviously I’m not as far away (from Alonso and Hamilton) as these guys. It’s always difficult to predict the future. How long do you want to keep doing something? I think a few more years. Reaching 40 isn’t so absurd to me. Let’s see,” he added.
