Neoenergia Pernambuco carries out special action in eight locations in Recife

Throughout this week, Neoenergia Pernambuco is carrying out a special action in eight communities in Recife, namely Linha do Tiro, Brasília Teimosa, Joana Bezerra, Avenida Dois Rios, Nova Morada, Bode, Coque and Cardoso. In total, there will be more than 200 professionals carrying out inspections, corrections, replacing equipment and removing illegal connections from these locations. The objective is to work preventively to avoid interruptions in supply and guarantee the quality, continuity and reliability of the distribution network that serves these regions.

The first locations to receive Neoenergia Pernambuco teams are Linha do Tiro, Brasília Teimosa, Bode, Avenida Dois Rios, Joana Bezerra, Coque, and Cardoso. In these locations, pruning, correction of future structural defects, replacement of part of the equipment, inspection and load balancing of transformers, in addition to network improvements, are being carried out. The remaining locations will be served until next Saturday.

“_We won’t stop even on holidays. We are carrying out a complete sweep of the distribution network that serves these locations to offer an even better service. This is detailed work, which is bringing together more than 200 people daily, from various technical areas of the company, so that we have a complete overview and assertive action in the locations_”, stated the technical superintendent of Neoenergia Pernambuco, André Santos.

These communities were already mapped by Neoenergia Pernambuco’s operational area for this first half of the year. With the rains last month, work was brought forward to prevent further interruptions from occurring again in the months with the highest rainfall.
