The ANEEL Consumer Satisfaction Award brings the results of customer evaluations on energy supply, service and trust in companies

Energisa Tocantins won 1st place in the ranking of the best energy distributors in the country, according to the ANEEL Consumer Satisfaction Award 2023 – IASC. Released by the National Electric Energy Agency (Aneel) this Friday (22), in Brasília, the survey evaluates customer satisfaction in all regions of Brazil, highlighting the quality of energy supply, service and trust in distributors. This is the second year in a row that the Tocantins energy distributor is at the top of the podium.

In general, the IASC survey divides distributors into 13 categories, including region of the country and the number of customers served – up to 30 thousand consumer units, over 30 thousand, between 30 thousand and 400 thousand, and over 400 thousand. Concessionaires and permission holders in the National category and those with the greatest growth in the year are also awarded prizes. Energisa Tocantins competes in the dealership category with over 400 thousand customers.

For the CEO of Energisa Alessandro Brum, the result of the award demonstrates how much the company has been acting in the right direction. “We know how much energy transforms lives and drives local development and growth. We work daily with a commitment to bringing the best energy to the four corners of Tocantins. Even often faced with geographical obstacles, difficult access and unfavorable weather conditions, our team seeks to provide the best experience for all Tocantins residents. This year, we completed 10 years of operation in the State, investing a total of around R$3.6 billion in the Tocantins electrical system. We know that a lot still needs to be done – and we will do it, but having this recognition from customers and the regulatory body shows that we are on the right path”, says Brum,

In 2024 alone, the Concessionaire will invest R$626.8 million to modernize and expand the Tocantins electricity network. Highlighting the investment of R$59.3 million in the construction of the Serras Gerais Substation. The initiative aims to strengthen the region’s electrical infrastructure, helping to boost local tourism and create opportunities for new ventures. Another work that will be carried out in 2024 is the connection of the Basic Network in Gurupi, with an investment of R$34.3 million.

Furthermore, works to improve network performance, covering Low, Medium and High Voltage/Substation systems, totaling R$92.9 million, are already underway in Tocantins. Additionally, works worth R$ 23.5 million are being carried out to improve the State’s entire electrical system and guarantee increasingly better electrical energy for all Tocantins residents.

In total, eight Energisa Group distributors were among the finalists for the awards in different categories: Energisa Acre, Energisa Rondônia and Energisa Tocantins, in the North Region category; Energisa Paraíba and Energisa Sergipe, in the Northeast Region; Energisa Mato Grosso and Energisa Mato Grosso do Sul, Central-West Region; and Energisa Sul-Southeast, Southeast Region. Furthermore, Energisa Paraíba and Energisa Sergipe competed in the Brazil category over 400 thousand customers, while Energisa Mato Grosso and Energisa Mato Grosso do Sul were in the Highest Growth category.

More recognitions

At the beginning of this week, Aneel released a ranking with the results of the distributors’ performance in continuing to supply electricity in 2023. In this survey, Energisa Tocantins came in 5th place in the Brazil ranking, standing out again in terms of quality indicators in Energy supply. This trajectory of excellence is nothing new, as in the last two consecutive years, the concessionaire has been recognized as one of the best electricity distributors in the North and Central-West regions. Furthermore, the company stands out as a renowned employer brand, being elected in 2022 and 2023 as the best company to work for in the entire North region, and being the only energy distributor in the country three times in the GPTW Energy sector ranking, where it competed with transmission, generation and distribution companies.
