At least that’s what the mayor of Bataguassu, Akira Otsubo (MDB), intends. According to him, the municipality has invested in planting the oilseed and already has 7 thousand hectares of peanuts cultivated by Casul members.

Heavy investment – According to the cooperative’s representative, Djalma Migliorini, 117 million reais were invested in infrastructure. The forecast is that exports from Bataguassu to other countries will begin by 2026, with the completion of the works.
