In ten days, Detran of MS already carries out 52 processes through the portal

The first free digital license plate is among the most recent services launched by Detran-MS (State Department of Traffic of Mato Grosso do Sul). From March 14th to 25th, the Vehicle Registration and Control Directorate (Dirve) validated 52 registration plates requested through the Meu Detran Services Portal.

The new service reduces bureaucracy and makes life easier for citizens in the process of issuing CRLV documents and Authorization for the Stamping of new vehicle license plates. The service is available to any citizen who has a silver or gold account at Gov.br, and can be requested on the Meu Detran service portal, in the “Vehicles” tab. Scrolling down the bar, on the left side, just search for “First Registration”, which will give you the options to start a new request or check the progress of an order already placed.

“Detran-MS is a reference in digital services that make citizens’ lives easier. With the First Digital License Plate it is possible to do everything using the computer, issue the CRLV-e and go directly to one of the accredited stampers to purchase the plate. Ease and time savings are the biggest advantages of this new service”, says the Director of Vehicle Registration and Control, Priscilla Rezende.

One of the criteria for requesting the first digital license plate is to have an account with GOV.BR as the document signature will be electronic. Another fundamental point is that only the owner can request a First License through the Detran-MS website. It is worth noting that when requesting a license plate through the Meu Detran Portal, there is no possibility of choosing a license plate.

How to request the First Vehicle License Plate?

On the Meu Detran Services Portal, the first registration request is made up of a few steps: pre-registration confirmation, owner information, protocol validation, issuing a guide, signing the CGV (General Vehicle Registration) process via GOV.BR, and finalizes the process with the attachment of documents.

When choosing the new request option, the citizen will need to include information regarding the vehicle chassis, Electronic Invoice (NFE) number, and access key. It is worth remembering that all this information will be on the vehicle’s invoice. The next step is to check the information, followed by an official document and the residential address included in the registration. “It is essential that the email address is correct, as all communication will be carried out via email”, explains Rezende.

After validating the protocol received in the email, the payment guide will be generated, and it is mandatory to view it to continue. In the next step, the owner downloads the CGV, and will automatically be directed to GOV.BR to digitally sign the document.

Back on the My Detran page, you will need to attach the owner’s identification documents, the vehicle’s invoice, and the digitally signed CGV. Upon completion, Detran receives the information digitally, validates the information, and the customer will be notified by email of the availability of the document and the stamping authorization that can be done at any accredited stamper at Detran-MS.
