Two brothers, aged 20 and 32, were arrested for attempted murder this Friday (April 26) on suspicion of seriously assaulting a man who had stolen cages and birds from their residence. The case was registered in Lavras, in the south of Minas Gerais.
According to information from the Civil Police of Minas Gerais (PCMG), the crime was committed in December last year, and the victim was bedridden and unable to carry out daily activities. The man was diagnosed with head trauma and several fractures.
When the brothers were arrested, the police also found several rocks of crack, a large portion of cocaine, precision scales, a simulated firearm and money on the 20-year-old. As a result, he was also arrested for drug trafficking.
The suspects were sent to the prison system. The investigations continue.
