The device was presented during the recent event “Let Loose” from Apple, which took place last Tuesday (05/07). Unfortunately, this is not the first time that our country has led the ranking of highest prices.

Considering the base model of the new iPad Pro, which has an 11-inch screen and 256 of storage, the tablet arrives in Brazil at a cost of R$12,299. In all other versions and with more storage, the Brazil continues to be the highlight of high prices and with an impressive discount compared to other more expensive countries.

The ranking of the highest and lowest prices was created by Jun Saito, from Nukeni. When making direct conversions from the value in reais to dollars at the current exchange rate, the base device, which costs 12 thousand reais, costs $2,424while in the USA it costs $999. In other words, Brazilians will pay more than double the original price of the tablet abroad.

The website BGR, responsible for publishing the ranking, made a comparison and showed that anyone living in the USA can buy a 13-inch iPad Pro with an M4 chip (wi-fi version) and 2TB storage, in addition to purchasing an Apple Pencil Pro along with the value of the real converted to dollars.

Besides Brazil, these are the most expensive countries to get an iPad Pro with an M4 chip:

  • Türkiye: US$1,425

  • Chile: US$1,388

  • Hungary: US$1,380

  • Denmark: US$1,339

In the countries where the iPad Pro is cheapest, besides the USA, we have these:

  • Hong Kong: US$1,023

  • Canada: US$1,068

  • Taiwan: US$1,075

  • Thailand: US$1,080
