Considered the largest traveling event to promote the health and well-being of truck drivers, as well as the population it passes through, the Casa Siga Bem caravan arrived in Santa Terezinha de Itaipu this Monday, April 1st.

Professionals from different sectors are available from 2:30 pm to 9:30 pm to provide services to truck drivers, such as: barbershop, manicure, vaccination, blood glucose tests, blood pressure measurement, eye exams, telemedicine and massage. The project has the support of Sest/Senat, through lectures and guidance given to drivers and their families during the passage of Casa Siga Bem, and also a partnership with the Municipal Health Department, which provided nursing professionals to assist in the carrying out the tests.

“Our goal is to offer quality service to truck drivers. After all, we know that in the rush of everyday life, they don’t have time, so the initiative came up so that they can pay special attention to their physical and mental health, so that they can take a little time to take care of themselves”, explained the producer of Casa Siga Bem, Lucas Lourenço.

The truck driver, Cleomar Cardoso Ferreira, highlighted the importance of the action. “Our time is short and being able to count on a space like this, which offers haircuts, manicures, vaccinations, massages and other exams, is wonderful. We feel valued.”

Four corners of Brazil
Casa Siga Bem will cover 28 thousand kilometers of roads, crossing 22 states, visiting 100 Siga Bem Network stations and interacting with the road public in 110 events, with the aim of serving up to 120 truck drivers per day.
