Camila Pitanga posts photo at the hospital and reveals diagnosis of asymptomatic pneumonia

The artist told her followers that she did not have typical symptoms of the disease, but is now fine

Camila Pitanga revealed this Tuesday (26/3) that she was recently diagnosed with asymptomatic pneumonia. On Instagram, the actress explained what symptoms she had before being admitted to the Albert Einstein Hospital, in the Rio de Janeiro unit.

“I’m fine, I’ll warn you not to alarm anyone, right?”, began the artist in her publication. “A little while ago I started to feel extremely tired, I thought it was a beginning of exhaustion due to a lot of work and personal issues that demanded a lot from me, being away from home, missing my family… My body couldn’t take it.”

The actress reported that her co-workers had already noticed that she was weak, something they believed would go away with rest. “During the recordings, the entire attentive and loving team thought it best for me to rest, recover. Holy days of rest. Parallel to this, they also asked me to take tests to ensure it was ‘just’ tiredness”, commented Camila.

Motivated by the team, Camila carried out a series of “important exams” that arrived at the final diagnosis. “Despite some changes, they reassured me as we ruled out hypotheses. We arrived at the diagnosis, asymptomatic pneumonia, that is, without those most expected symptoms: Fever, cough or some difficulty breathing. The pneumonia is fully treated, okay?”, she stated.

“This is a careful post. There were a lot of tests, and I highlight something that I didn’t know.
