Considered by many to be the biggest free music festival in Brazil, TIM Music Rio will once again take place at Posto 4 on Copacabana Beach, over two weekends – on the 25th and 26th of May and the 1st and 2nd of June . The line-up focuses on the selection of established artists and new names in Brazilian music, with emphasis on the diversity of national rhythms. Djavan, IZA, Gloria Groove, Marina Sena, Baco Exu do Blues, Rael, Preta Gil and Thiago Pantaleão will take the stage. And a tribute to samba singer Beth Carvalho will bring together Diogo Nogueira, Marvvila and Roberta Sá.
In its first two editions, big names in Brazilian music took the stage at TIM Music Rio, bringing together more than half a million people in Copacabana. In the first year, in 2022, the event presented Rio’s residents with a program of shows full of power and diversity with names such as Seu Jorge, Luiza Sonza, Xamã and Criolo. In its second edition, last year, it brought the star Caetano Veloso, as well as Daniela Mercury, Matuê, Liniker, BaianaSystem and Pretinho da Serrinha with Jorge Aragão.
TIM Music Rio is carried out through the Culture Incentive Law of the State of Rio de Janeiro. The shows have all the necessary infrastructure and support from public bodies and always take place between 4pm and 8pm.
