According to g1, babalaô Ivanir dos Santos asks Ludmilla to make a public retraction, while state deputy Átila Nunes wants the excerpt from the video removed, showing that she practiced prejudice against African-based religions.

It is worth remembering that those responsible for the singer’s creative team, Nídia Aranha and Drica Lara, explained the idea for the video that accompanied the track “Rainha da Favela” and apologized to anyone who felt offended by the section accused of religious intolerance. The singer also used social media to speak out against the accusations.

“They took out of context one of the images from the video on the big screen of the show in Rainha da Favela, which brings different records of spaces and realities in which I grew up and lived for many years, wanting to rewrite its meaning, and putting myself in a position that is completely contrary to mine”, said Ludmilla.
