Actress and presenter Mel Fronckowiak, 36, used social media to announce the pregnancy of her second child, the result of her 12-year relationship with actor Rodrigo Santoro, 48.

In the post, he used a drawing made by his eldest daughter, Nina, to explain the family’s moment. In the image, Mel appears with a pregnant belly.

“There were two of us and the beginning of the road. Now there are four of us and we are starting the path again. Generating a child is, in part, a demand of love. Yes, love sometimes overflows and with it can come the desire to see this overflow flourishing”, it started.

“It was a thoughtful and much desired decision. And we will continue with our way of dealing with the intimate, with our privacy. Motherhood is a challenge, I have no doubt about it. We, women, know this well. But it is profound and special too. Our love has branched out even further and soon we will be a foursome.”

Rodrigo Santoro also celebrated the news. “Let’s build our paths together, starting over every day, expanding this love that never stops growing”, wrote the artist.

Many celebrities congratulated the couple, including Larissa Manoela, Fernanda Rodrigues, Marcella Rica and Marcelo Serrado. “My God, crying with emotion,” wrote actress Tainá Müller, with whom Santoro worked on the last season of “Bom Dia, Verônica” (Netflix).
