“A little while ago I started to feel extremely tired, I thought it was a beginning of exhaustion due to a lot of work and personal issues that demanded a lot from me, being away from home, missing my family… My body couldn’t take it. During the recordings, the entire team was attentive and friendly, they asked me to take tests to ensure it was ‘just’ fatigue,” she wrote.
He continued: “I underwent several important tests that little by little, despite some changes, reassured me as we ruled out hypotheses. On March 9, we arrived at the diagnosis of asymptomatic pneumonia, that is, without those most expected symptoms: fever, cough or any difficulty breathing.”
Camila Pitanga also made a point of emphasizing that the pneumonia has already been treated, but took the opportunity to alert her followers. “It is important to say that the pneumonia is fully treated! This is a post of care,” she said.
The actress also highlighted the month “Azul-Marinho”.
“March is Navy Blue month, a campaign for the importance of prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of colorectal cancer. Colonoscopy in this case is extremely important to detect any abnormality, whether it has symptoms or not, hence the need for the exam from the age of 45, as part of your care routine. I did it and I will continue doing it”, he said.
Camila also thanked the medical team that accompanied her. “I felt welcomed and cared for. It was very important for me to be able to go through the scare in a more conscious and informed way”, she said.
