Reporter Vanessa Medeiros fainted live, on the night of this Wednesday (2/11), while reporting a shooting in Morro do José Menino, in Santos, São Paulo. The journalist was in front of the São Vicente police station and presented, in the TV Tribuneaffiliate of Rede Globoinformation about the suspects and drugs seized.

During the live, Medeiros stated that he was not well. As she spoke, she began to feel sick and said “sorry guys, I’m not feeling well”. Then the journalist lost consciousness and fell.

To prevent her colleague from hitting the ground, the film reporter who accompanied her, Fernando Skillo, helped Medeiros and did not let her fall to the ground. According to Skillo, the reporter didn’t take long to regain consciousness and was taken to the hospital to have her blood pressure checked. Minutes after the incident, the presenter of the news program reported that the journalist had a drop in blood pressure and is doing well.

“She’s fine, she’s recovered. I’m taking Vanessa to Unimed to see how her blood pressure is. She didn’t fall to the ground. When the information ‘fled’ her head, I didn’t do anything, but when she put the hand on her face, I got out of the camera and held her close to the wall. She passed out, but she’s back,” Skillo said.
