O Al-Hilal sweated to overcome Al-Ahli and guarantee another victory towards the Saudi title. And in this Monday’s tough clash, away from home, coach Jorge Jesus stole the show with different reactions while the ball was rolling and also after the match. In addition to the traditional scenes of impatience with his team, the former Flamengo commander even carried Malcom, scorer of the winning goal, on his lap.

The unusual image was recorded by the official broadcast, with the 69-year-old coach carrying Malcom on his back at the end of the match, smiling. The Brazilian scored the goal that turned the tide for Al-Hilal in the 44th minute of the second half, after Mitrovic equalized – Al-Ahli opened the scoring with Al Brikan.

Before the smiles of victory, however, Jesus showed a lot of irritation throughout the confrontation. At the moment of Mitrovic’s goal, for example, he was caught exploding towards the rival bench. Teammates from Mister’s coaching staff had to hold him back in his moment of fury. Another scene that caught our attention was when Jorge almost invaded the field to complain to an athlete.

The victory left Al-Hilal with 86 points at the top of the Saudi Championship, 12 ahead of rivals Al-Nassr. In this way, Jorge Jesus’ team can mathematically secure the national title in the next round, before even going to the field: Al-Nassr just doesn’t beat Al-Akhdoud on Thursday. If the CR7 team wins, Al-Hilal only needs to draw with Al-Hazm, on Saturday, to guarantee the title.
