The “Juazeiro é + Saúde” action marked more than 37 thousand procedures. The event, developed by the Department of Health, served around 9 thousand people. Lasting 5 days, the event contributed to reducing the number of patients on the waiting list for exams and specialized consultations.
In addition to reaching a large audience with the scheduling of procedures, “Juazeiro é + Saúde” also recorded 104 electrocardiograms carried out at the action site and more than 500 blood collections for laboratory tests. The event, hosted at the Municipal Gymnasium, also immunized 768 people from Juazeiro of all ages.
For Andrea Landim, holder of the portfolio, the event fulfilled its objective. “When thinking about this action, our main goal was to provide scheduling and access to healthcare to as many people who were on the waiting list as possible. We achieved almost 40 thousand procedures scheduled with specialists, this is a great victory and the result of the dedication of all employees who were involved in the project”, he states.
Cícera Maria dos Santos, retired, guaranteed her appointment and that of her family. “I managed to make my appointment and my children also came. I’m relieved, because we’re going to see each other and take care of our health”, she celebrates.
In partnership with the Department of Development and Labor, participants also took advantage of services at CadÚnico and Programa Criança Feliz. There was also guidance on the Aedes aegypti mosquito and other arboviruses.
