Court orders the execution of the payment of the process for the 40% unhealthy work for Esho/Monte Klinikum employees who worked during the Covid-19 pandemic period: the time has come to receive

In 2020, Sindsaúde Ceará’s legal consultancy team entered the Labor Court with a collective action seeking maximum health hazard pay, that is, 40% of the minimum wage, for employees of the company ESHO, working at the Hospital Monte Klinikum who were subjected to biological risks arising from the coronavirus/Covid-19.

The legal experts pointed out that 179 employees, represented by Sindsaúde, should be receiving an additional 40%. However, the company, even though it was aware of the lethal risk to which employees were subjected during the pandemic period, did not respect the conclusions of the expert report and continued paying only 20% of the hazard pay premium, which, in fact, should have been 40%. %.

After three years since the start of the collective action, the Judge of the 2nd Labor Court ordered the execution of the process. Now, it is necessary to inform the bank account where the amount owed to each person mentioned in the list of beneficiaries of the action will be deposited.

IMPORTANT: It is worth mentioning that those affiliated with Sindsaúde Ceará do not pay anything for this process, however, non-affiliated workers must pay 20% of lawyers’ fees. However, if the worker joins now, there will be a 10% reduction in the amount to be paid in this percentage of fees.
