HFM professionals receive double vaccination against Covid-19 and Influenza – Campos 24 Horas

Health professionals at Hospital Ferreira Machado (HFM) began receiving, this Monday (1st), the bivalent vaccine against Covid-19 and also the Influenza vaccine, which prevents the flu. Applications will continue until Wednesday (3), from 9:30 am to 3 pm, at the entrance to the Pediatric Emergency. The objective is to increase protection against diseases among workers. Upon being vaccinated, the president of the Municipal Health Foundation and superintendent of HFM, Arthur Borges, highlighted the importance of this initiative. “We are committed to ensuring the safety and health of professionals. This double vaccination is yet another measure to strengthen our defense against these diseases”, he commented. (Read more below)

The Operational Coordinator, Joyce Nascimento, emphasized the importance of direct vaccination in the workplace. “The availability of vaccination in the workplace is a significant convenience for healthcare professionals, as it eliminates the need for travel, saving time and ensuring that everyone has access to immunization quickly and conveniently,” she said. GUIDELINES – The healthcare professional must present an original document with photo, CPF or SUS card and proof of previous doses of the Covid vaccine. The interval after the last booster dose is four months.
