Gran Hermano: Participant is diagnosed with leukemia, and reveals whether she will continue on the reality show; watch (Reproduction/Telefe)

Gran Hermano participant, Juliana “Furia” Scaglione, was diagnosed with leukemia during her confinement on the Argentine reality show, this Monday (22). She had a urinary infection and underwent some tests, the results of which were “worrying”. The digital content creator revealed the information to the other brothers, adding that she was allowed to remain on the program.

Throughout the day, there was speculation about Furia’s health status. She had been removed by production from the house to go to the Los Arcos Sanatorium hospital for the second time in less than seven days. “I have stage one leukemia. I don’t need to treat it, just take blood every month. It could be that at 40 I’ll have stage three and we’ll be screwed.”she announced to the attendees.

Then, Furia listed the precautions he should take from now on. “I asked what I have to do and that’s what I do: a healthy lifestyle, I don’t smoke so much, I can’t train like I used to train, in other words, I can’t be a high-performance athlete. I just need to draw blood.”he pondered.

The sister also asked her teammates not to worry about her and announced her decision to stay in the game. “Don’t worry, I’m fine, otherwise I wouldn’t be here. My idea is to move on with all of this, which is my life. (…) I want it to be clear that this game did nothing to make me feel like this today. I think it was everything I put up with with my family, the anger I have, the things I haven’t forgiven and that I have to release and heal, I have to let go.”confessed the participant, one of the favorites for the award.

During yesterday’s program, presenter Santiago del Moro read part of Furia’s medical report live. According to the documents, the participant “does not require specific treatment, but requires monthly medical monitoring, which includes laboratory tests”.

Shortly after the news was given, viewers expressed their support and concern for the sister through social media. “A big hug, Furia. You’re a warrior”wrote a profile. “Strength, Fury”wished for a second person. “A lot of light on your path Furia. [Estamos] with you until the end. We love you”declared another.
