Actress and influencer Eva Evans, known for her Prime Video series “Club Rat”, died at age 29. The artist had more than 305 thousand followers on TikTok and was famous for her work in production.
The series was created, scripted, directed and starred by Evans. The work was based on the influencer’s personal experiences, as a social media star who unexpectedly ends a relationship and begins her search for a new relationship.
The police revealed to TMZ that friends of the actress found Eva’s body last Saturday night (20). A friend, according to the portal, had the key to the actress’s apartment in New York, and when the group arrived they went to check on her. Friends found her lifeless. They called the police and said they didn’t know Eva was depressed or emotionally disturbed.
TMZ also reported that the actress was pronounced dead at the scene, with no unusual injuries or signs of struggle. According to friends, she left a note, but the content was not disclosed. The police point to a possible suicide, but the official cause of death has not yet been announced and toxicological results are pending.
Lila Joy, Eva’s sister, was the first to confirm the news on social media over the weekend. She wrote: “Yesterday my family received the news that our dear, fabulous, creative, loving and hilarious Eva, my sister, died. After 24 hours I’m still in a cycle of denial and acceptance, so I know how incredibly difficult it will be to process this information.”.
Joy concluded by saying: “I would like to count on Eva here to help me, because she would have better words to express what I can’t. I’ll be brief so we can plan for the next few days, but you’ll hear more from me about what Eva means to me and how the world will be different without her”.
