Eliana announces departure from SBT; remember the presenter’s career

Eliana ends her contract with SBT in June this year, after 15 years at the broadcaster. The presenter began her career in the music industry and had already spent seven years leading children’s programs on SBT, before moving to TV Record. The actress and singer returned to Silvio Santos’ station in 2015 and, since then, has presented a Sunday program.

Actress, presenter and singer, Eliana began her artistic career at the end of the 1980s. In 1991, she began directing children’s programs on SBT at the invitation of Silvio Santos, where she remained for seven years, before migrating to TV Record in 1998.

The presenter continued to present children’s programs on the station until 2005, when she started presenting a Sunday program for the general public. The success of the attraction caught the attention of Silvio Santos who, in 2009, invited Eliana to return to the station with “Programa da Eliana”.

The attraction named after the presenter completed 15 years on air, demonstrating the presenter’s versatility. Among countless attractions, Eliana climbed Christ the Redeemer and made special appearances during national and international trips, in addition to interviewing celebrities such as Hebe Camargo, Sandy, Xuxa, Angelica, Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift and Antonio Banderas.

Eliana’s departure from SBT

The presenter Eliana, 51 years old, is leaving SBT. The information was announced by the broadcaster itself this Monday (1st).

According to the channel, the decision, which was made by the presenter herself, was made “in a mutual and friendly way”. She leaves the broadcaster in June this year.
