After integrating operations and achieving synergies beyond expectations, Americanet and Vero are in the last phase of consolidation, with the adoption of a single brand. Americanet leaves, Vero remains, after a consultancy with Interbrand. The new Vero is among the five largest telecommunications companies in the country, with 1.3 million subscribers and combined revenue of R$1.6 billion.

  • In the merger of Vero and Americanet, synergy increases by 30%
  • Vero enters the Midwest with M&A and evaluates funding alternatives

To maintain the annual level of investments, at around R$580 million last year, the company began looking for partnerships for new products and services and for geographic expansion – one of these fronts is the connected home or connected office, with the installation of cameras monitoring systems integrated with an artificial intelligence system. “We have a plan for more than 200 initiatives by the end of the year”, says CEO Fabiano Ferreira.

  • V.tal invests R$250 million in new data center in Porto Alegre
