The extension applies exclusively to Track 1 of the program, focused on individuals with an income of up to two minimum wages or those registered in the federal government’s Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico). Since its implementation began in October, this initiative has been a real relief for many who are looking for a light at the end of the tunnel to balance their finances.

According to information released by the government, the great demand for Desenrola Brasil highlights the need for its extension. The unification of the program with banking applications, Serasa Limpa Nome and Caixa Tem (Android, iOS) facilitated access and participation by interested parties. Furthermore, something new is that interested parties can also look for post offices to renegotiate their debts.

What are the advantages of the program?

To date, around 14 million people have managed to renegotiate approximately R$50 billion in debt, covering Tracks 1 and 2 of Desenrola Brasil. Thus, the discounts achieved in negotiations reach an average of 83%, with the possibility of payment in cash or in installments, with no down payment requirement and a period of up to 60 months for payment.
