Marketing leader at Banco Santander in Brazil until the end of last year, Igor Puga already has a new professional destiny: from May, he will take on the role of executive vice-president of the e-commerce platform Enjoei.

In a statement released to the Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the company explains that, together with the current administrators, “the new director will be responsible for contributing to the advancement of transformational change in the Enjoei business, bringing solid knowledge in the areas of consumption, technology, finance, retail, sales and
communication. One of its main responsibilities will be to work on opportunities to generate and increase revenue for the group’s companies.”

Recently, Enjoei acquired two other companies – Elo7 and Cresci e Perdi – in a move to extend its presence to physical store environments.

To the report of Medium & Message, Puga says his role is a cross-cutting function of generating business, growth and revenue. “And as the opportunities at Enjoei are countless, whether on the platform, in the operations of physical stores, in possible financial products and the expansion of new categories, it transcends the area of marketing and sales to materialize this objective in this new moment, in which Enjoei makes it a holding with more complexities”, he commented.

Before taking on the new challenge, Puga worked for seven years at Santander, the company in which he made his debut as an advertiser, closing the circle of experience across the three corners of the communications industry. He had previously worked in vehicles and agencies, the last being DM9DDB, where he was vice president of integration and innovation until 2016.

Journalist and postgraduate in applied statistics, the executive has worked for the agencies Publicis, JWT, Africa and DM9. He was a partner in the TBWA group in Brazil, founding the digital agency ID TBWA, where he worked for 8 years — the company maintains the original brand to this day, with the initials of the names of the founders Igor Puga and Domenico Massareto. In the digital platforms market, Igor worked at iG and Terra.
