BYD celebrated an important milestone last Saturday (23) by selling 963 cars in a single day during Mega Electric Day. The event offered consumers special conditions, including free insurance, documentation and charger, in addition to differentiated rates.

With this, the company surpassed its own brand and recorded the best sales performance in history in Brazil, surpassing the previous record of 821 units, also achieved on a Saturday.

Dolphin Mini: the best seller

Standing out as the sales leader during the event, the recently launched Dolphin Mini won consumer preference, with an impressive total of 312 units sold. It is worth mentioning that the model had already registered more than 6,500 units in pre-sales.

Recognized for its exceptional energy efficiency, the compact achieves a yield of 0.41 MJ/km, equivalent to a consumption of 70 km/L compared to combustion models. Following closely, in the sequence of sales, are Dolphin, with 256 units, and Song Plus, with 248 records.

BYD reaches 7 million vehicles

In addition to the sales success on Mega Electric Day, BYD achieved a notable achievement this Monday (25), by becoming the first automaker in the world to produce 7 million 100% electric and hybrid vehicles.

This milestone was achieved with the Denza N7 model, manufactured in Jinan, China. With remarkable growth, the company reached its first million in May 2021, and in just 7 months, it reached the current milestone.
