The Government of Bahia, through the Secretariat of Labor, Employment, Income and Sport (Setre), is offering professional qualifications to those interested in participating in the selection process of the Chinese automaker Build Your Dreams (BYD), which will open a factory in Camaçari, a municipality of the Metropolitan Region of Salvador. In the first stage, 500 places are being offered distributed among four courses, all free of charge.
Vehicle production operator courses will be offered; production line assistant; industrial machinery maintenance mechanic and quality inspector. Unemployed workers, registered with agencies of the National Employment System (SINE) and beneficiaries of other public work and income policies, who are seeking insertion in the world of work, can register. The courses will be taught by SENAI in Camaçari and the workload is 200 to 260 hours.
In addition to free qualification, those selected will receive uniforms, teaching materials, transportation and snacks. The qualification aims to, not guarantee, hiring, which is linked to specific BYD criteria.
