Brasília, the planned capital of Brazil, known worldwide for its unique architecture and urban organization, now takes a step forward with Biotic – Parque Tecnológico, aiming to establish itself as the most intelligent and sensitive neighborhood in the country. Inspired by the same spirit of innovation and planning that characterized the construction of Brasília, Biotic was carefully designed to be a hub of innovation and technology.

Biotic’s masterplan was developed by Carlo Ratti, an Italian architect renowned for his work on smart cities around the world. Ratti brought to the project a vision that combines cutting-edge technology with sustainability, aiming to create an environment that not only shelters, but also inspires and encourages technological innovation.

A notable initiative within Biotic is the Biotic Fund, a strategic investment fund that aims to support the growth and implementation of new technologies within the park. With the participation of significant entities such as Integral Brei and Banco BRB, the fund is destined to boost not only technological development, but also the commercial attractiveness of Biotic, consolidating its position as a world-class innovation center.

Currently, the technology park has dozens of residents, including startups and institutions representing the national innovation ecosystem, including financial technology giants such as BrbLab and data centers operated by Caixa Econômica Federal and Banco do Brasil. In addition to these facilities already in operation, Biotic hosts projects in the implementation phase for construction, such as WTC Brasília; and hosts the rectory of the University of the Federal District (UnDF), which will have an IT hub, promising to be a center of excellence in research and development.

Negotiations are underway for the implementation of a large data center, highlighting global interest in Biotic’s potential as an innovation hub.

Gustavo Dias, president of Biotic, commented on the progress of the project: “We are committed to transforming Biotic not just into a technology park, but into an innovation ecosystem where companies, startups and academic institutions can collaborate to develop technologies that make a difference in the real world. Strategic planning and future vision are fundamental for us.”

Biotic is more than just a business district; is a vision of the future where technology, sustainability and innovation meet to create a truly transformative environment. With intelligent and sensitive design, Biotic is positioned to be the beating heart of innovation in Brazil, following in the visionary footsteps of its mother city, Brasília.
