The case is being investigated by local police authorities

A four-year-old child, identified as Artem Deriugin, was found lifeless inside a washing machine. The boy had been reported missing by his family before being found dead.

The case is being investigated by local police authorities to clarify the circumstances that led to the child’s death.

According to information released by the British newspaper Daily Mail, Artem’s body was found in the washing machine with bruises, located in the garage of the family’s residence, two days after his grandfather reported his grandson’s disappearance to the police.

Before the tragic outcome, an intense search was carried out in the Siberian region, with posters of the missing boy’s face spread out in the hope of finding him safe. However, the search was terminated after the discovery of the child’s body.

Law enforcement authorities reported at the time that Artem had disappeared because he was “left unsupervised by adults” and that he was last seen by his grandfather during his lunch break.

Alexandre Bystryki, chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee, announced that a detailed report on the case has been ordered and that an investigation will be opened to clarify the reasons and circumstances that led to the death of the boy Deriugin.
