An American woman went viral on social media this week after revealing an unusual situation as a cleaner in a hotel. In the report, the woman, known as Laugh Track, said that the way the place was cleaned caused her to resign in less than 27 minutes. The case was published by La Nacion and occurred in the state of Georgia.

“They explained to me what my tasks would be and I chose to accept the proposal”, begins the woman. She then clarifies that she was received by her colleagues, who explained the protocol in detail, but at that moment everything changed.

Upon entering the first room, “Laugh” went in search of some cleaning products to begin his task. “I grabbed gloves and bleach and said, ‘Okay, let’s get to work’ — he says. But her colleague interrupted her: ‘No, no, no, no’, she warned. With that, I realized that something was wrong”, continues the woman.

Immediately, the woman who accompanied “Laugh” cut some tape and began to stick it and remove it from the floor to remove the dirt. Then, she sprayed some bleach in the room and concluded: ‘That’s it, the bathroom is clean’.

Once in the bedrooms, the woman was ready to remove the used sheets. However, her partner stopped her. “She turned on the vacuum cleaner and ran the machine through the dirty sheets. Then she made the bed and that was it,” she reported indignantly.

The video received hundreds of thousands of likes and countless comments from people criticizing the way the hotel organizes its cleaning. Other people have reported similar experiences in their workplaces, telling of cases in which they also witnessed major hygiene failures in stores and well-known places.
