Cintia Dicker was moved when talking about her husband, Pedro Scooby’s trip to Rio Grande do Sul. Gaúcha de Campo Bom, the model stayed in Rio de Janeiro with her daughter, Aurora, and stepson, Dom, while the surfer went with a group of friends to the state hit by the rains.
“Pedro is there [no Rio Grande do Sul]with all those wonderful angels, I’m sure they will do an incredible job to help the South. There is a beautiful and wonderful team that is giving everything to do as much as possible to help as many people as possible”, said Cintia.

“I really wanted to be there, my family is from Campo Bom [que fica a 57 quilômetros da capital, Porto Alegre], everyone helping and doing what they can. I’m doing what I can from here”, added Dicker, who even took Pedro Scooby to meet his friends before he hit the road.
The former BBB member traveled to Rio Grande do Sul last Sunday (5) to try to help rescue the homeless. “I called some friends of mine who ride giant waves with me, they activated other people too”, said the athlete in Instagram stories.

“We managed to gather the best big wave riders in Rio, we are taking jet skis and heading south. Hopefully we arrive in time to be able to help, it’s the least we can do”, added Scooby.

Lucas Chumbo accompanies Pedro Scooby in operation in Rio Grande do Sul
In the group that accompanied Pedro Scooby to help the Civil Defense of Rio Grande do Sul in searches and rescues is Lucas Chumbowho is also a surfer and, like his friend, participated in Big Brother Brasil in 2020.
Scooby’s friends entered the water with their jet skis as soon as they arrived in Porto Alegre. According to the Gaúcha ZK website, there are at least 30 watercraft, in addition to 10 speedboats and boats that are being used by surfers. They also took some donations, such as personal hygiene, cleaning and food items.

On Instagram, Cintia Dicker’s husband published some photos of the group in the supermarket and at gas stations filling up their cars. Pedro explained that he is being guided by local authorities on the best place where they should start taking action.
According to the state government, the environmental disaster has already caused 83 deaths and left 111 people missing and another 276 injured. In total, 345 of the state’s 496 municipalities face problems caused by the rain, which adds up to 850,000 people affected, with more than 140,000 of these outside their homes.
