A RECORD closed the month of April with positive results by consolidating, once again, the isolated second place in the 24-hour average for the 46th consecutive monththat is, almost four years of securing this position in the national market ranking, according to data from Kantar Ibope Media PNT.

On average 24 hours, RECORD recorded an average of 3.6 points and a share of 10.7%. The third-placed competitor, SBT, scored an average of 2.4 points and a share of 7%.

On average day (7am to midnight), the broadcaster consolidated itself in second place with an average of 4.8 points, a number 66% higher than that of competitor SBT, which obtained 2.9 points. RECORD had a share of 11.5% and its competitor 6.9%.

And on Big Sao PauloRECORD also consolidated second place alone in 24-hour and daily averages with a large advantage over third place.

On average day, (7am to noon), the broadcaster recorded an average of 5.2 points and a share of 12.2%. SBT reached an average of 3.3 points and a share of 7.7%. The difference in the average is 58%.

And on 24h average, RECORD beat SBT with a 38% higher audience: 4 points x 2.9 points. The share was 11.2% against 8% for third place.

Already in the first four months of 2024according to data from Kantar Ibope Media GSP, the broadcaster was the only one that recorded growth in comparison with 2023. From January to April, it marked, on average day, 5.2 points on average and a share of 12.3%, that is, an audience 8% higher than that recorded last year: 4.8 points and a share of 11.3%.

SBT, which came in third place, scored an average of 3.3 points with a share of 7.9%, this represents a drop of 15%, since in 2023 it recorded an average of 3.9 points with a share of 9.2% .

At 24h averageRECORD audience grew by 7%, registering an average of 4 points compared to 3.7 in 2023. Share increased by 8% and accumulated 11.2% compared to 10.4%. The third-placed competitor, SBT, scored an average of 2.9 points and a share of 8.2% this year, against an average of 3.4 points and a share of 9.5% last year, this means that it varied negatively in 15%.
